Global Finance & Technology - Grow Mentorship Program Branding/Materials

Challenge

As our GF&T organization continued to grow and evolve, there was a clear gap in access to mentorship. While informal mentoring existed, it wasn’t consistently available across teams, and many employees, especially those navigating career transitions or leadership pathways lacked clarity on how to seek guidance, build confidence, and translate ambition into actionable development.

At the same time, there was an opportunity to strengthen connection, inclusion, and knowledge-sharing across GF&T, particularly in a hybrid environment where organic relationship-building had become more difficult. The challenge was to design a program that felt intentional and scalable, while still being personal, meaningful, and impactful for both mentors and mentees.

Solution

I partnered closely with colleagues across Finance Transformation and the GF&T Learning Innovation Council to co-design and launch the GF&T Grow Mentorship Program, a structured 12‑month mentorship experience.

From my perspective, my role focused on translating high-level objectives into an engaging, participant-centered experience. This included:

  • Shaping program messaging and materials that clearly articulated the why behind mentorship and the value for both mentors and mentees

  • Developing and owning core content such as the Grow Mentorship Kick-off Deck, Grow eLearn in Articulate, SharePoint site with key resources, program overview pages, and the mentee/mentor guidebooks to ensure consistency, clarity, and accessibility

  • Supporting the design of the kick-off experience, including agenda flow, roles and expectations, and interactive elements that encouraged early relationship-building between mentors and mentees

Results

The result was the successful launch of the GF&T Grow Mentorship Program and Kick-off Event, positioned as a cornerstone of our broader learning and development platform. From my perspective, the most meaningful outcomes were:

  • A clear, repeatable mentorship framework that provides employees with structured guidance while allowing flexibility for individual goals and mentoring styles

  • Strong early engagement and alignment, supported by a well-received kick-off event and clearly defined mentor/mentee expectations

  • Increased visibility and momentum around mentorship as a tool for career development, inclusion, and leadership growth across GF&T

  • A foundation that can be sustained and scaled in future cohorts, with clear success measures, feedback loops, and reusable resources already in place

Overall, this experience reinforced my ability to bridge strategy and execution—turning a need into a tangible, well-structured program that supports both individual growth and organizational culture.
